Besides Bellsouth and Cox Communications, how can I get local phone service without VOIP?

I have a small business in the New Orleans area and I need a phone line. I do not want VOIP (like vonage) or anything else that uses the internet. I need a real phone line. What companies provide phone service?

Well BellSouth is an excellent company, but if you don't want to have it try AT&T, it's not VoIP, so try it maybe it would help to you.
But my best suggestion will be BellSouth.

in case you do no longer choose 911 or you do no longer care if theres a means failure or internet interruption then bypass forward. in any different case save your landline and merely use VoIP for long distance. Thats what I did by means of fact my long distance value is getting bigger so nowI use Onesuite voip for all my long distance calls and nevertheless use my landline for community calls.
